Quinta do Sobreiró de Cima is located in the Valpaços área – one of the unfathomable treasures of the viticultural Portugal, reflecting the great richness and natural vocation of our country for the cultivation of vines and wine.
The “Terra Quente” has always been destined for the production of selected wines, from the “Passum Optima” (wine of raisins destined for Rome during the Roman Empire) to the fact that Valpaços once belonged to the Port Wine Region in the early 20thcentury.

This Extra Virgin Olive Oil originates from the oldest olive groves of the Quinta do Sobreiró de Cima, located in the most ancient areas of the olive cultivation of Terra Fria Transmontana.
Here are extraordinary conditions for the production of high quality olive oil, where the rigors of winter are the natural 'treatment' against pests, allowing to obtain healthy olives from olive trees that - by their age - always have very low yields, thus becoming an oil of great complexity and elegance.
