Rosé Vergueiro - Tinta Roriz 2021

VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
To make known the people from Trás-os-Montes who have marked regional, national or world history, at Quinta do Sobreiró de Cima we use the different faces of the Tinta Roriz variety, also known as Tempranillo, Aragonês, Abundante, Cencibel, Tinto del País, Ull de Lebre, Tinto Fino and Tinta de Toro, a variety that for being valued also conquered the world. So we also did it in a differentiating way, because from the same grapes we made three very different wines.
The Tinta Roriz Rosé was made with an open spout with the must that followed the white.
Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats was followed by a 3-month period in used barrels, with fine lees, to make them smoother and astronomical.
